Steve showed a unique sense of humor and superior intellect, but we only went to live music venues and played basketball together. I learned so much about my friend's family and his legacy from his well-written memoir, that I'll forever be grateful for His spendiing the time and thought to write it and share it with us, whether we knew him or not. California Story is a must-read for Californians or lovers of the outdoors. There is something to make you laugh, smile or cry in every chapter. Well done Steven Falk!
